Claim vs Assume: Atheist by Default do Which? |
Nerd Gerl wrote in message ...
By calling yourself an atheist, do you:
a) Assume there is no God to believe in?
b) Claim there is no God to believe in?
What does the word "atheist" mean to you? Are you an assume-er? a
claimer? a claimer-hater? a disclaimer?
What do you think of people who call themselves atheists, and "claim"
nothing, but "assume" instead?
And if you find no difference between the two, please explain why.
Helpful defn's:
Assume - Take to be the case or to be true; accept without verification or proof
Claim - Assert or affirm strongly; state to be true or existing
.

it isn't the case if you believe or not believe there is this ''thought''
people they have ,the truth no matter what and i think whatever is truth is
for everybody different and a very personal thing ,even they do believe or
not its just the question what they do with what they believe , i mean some
people ''believe'' in ''god'' when they need to believe and just believe
when they are in trouble ,others believe cause they did not learned there is
something else to i just mean what is believing in ''god'' ?, should we
believe cause the herd is believing and just follow them cause they walk
that road? or shall we believe cause we are convinced 'god' exist i don't
know and yet many do just believe cause they think thats the right way to do
not cause they are convinced but just cause they are afraid of ''what other
people would say ''' if they not believe, like i said its a very personal
choise and matter
