Feb. 22 - God and property. The Supreme Court will grapple with both as
it returns today for a two-week session of arguments. With Chief
Justice William Rehnquist ailing, the new religion and property cases
could be the distinctive closing bell of the Rehnquist Court. Although
Rehnquist's illness will keep him off the bench, he plans to
participate in the decisions.
