Object: CNN - Crossfire
James Carville! Bob Novak!
If anyone happened to catch CNN's "Crossfire"
Monday, you may have spotted a handsome
young professional in the audience. Next to him,
of course, you would've seen me.
The handsome young professional is my room
mate. Knowing that "Crossfire" if my favorite-most
show in the whole widest world (Bring back the
hour! Bring back the hour!), he surprised me with
reservations for a pair of tickets and the promise
to drive down to Washington. Well, he sort of
surprised me. Originally the reservations were
made for earlier in the month, but then he had to
cancel those and re-schedule for a different time,
due to a conflict. I guess there really wasn't much
of a surprise left after that.
Almost.
There were two surprises after that. The first was
that my mother somehow managed to figure out how
to program her vcr and record the show, the second
was that the roomie & I both got on camera... and I
even made it twice... something of a "close up"...
looking like a homeless guy who stumbled into the
studio in search of a warm place to rest.
Yes I looked *Awful*.
I don't know if you'd have a second chance to stare
JTEM on tv -- bolstering your already well defined
sense of superiority -- but the roomie & I are going
to be in the audience again. When? I'm not saying.
Wednesday or Thursday. They're not quite as desperate
as me, but they're always looking for people. You know,
to be in the audience. Particularly on days other than
Friday.
Check it out if you're interested:

And, oh, talk about scoring! James Carville! Rah!
The man is a political deity, and we got super-duper
extra James Carville when they brought him out for
a segment on "Inside Politics," which aired just prior
to "Crossfire."
He also signed some autographs & even posed for
a few photographs with audience members after the
show. But, we didn't expect any such luck, and
failed to bring so much as a pen.
Not that we needed it though. I mean, it's not like I'd
need a reminder...

Good for you! I like Crossfire. Carville is cool. I enjoy laughing at
Novak and Tucker with his little bow tie.

It's the closest thing to usenet on television. They even
have trolls (Tucker & Novak)!

Carville is cool.

Carville is *Da Bomb*!

I enjoy laughing at Novak and Tucker with his little bow tie.

What gets me about Tucker is his willingness to lie at the drop
of a hat, than pretend he's oh so "ethically offended" by those
big liberal meanie heads.

He and the super sanctimonious George Will would make a good team.
