Coelacanths-Living Fossils?
Evolutionary religionists claim the the fossil coelacanth fish lived 360
million years ago and is our ancestor or very like it! But coelacanths
have been found living in the ocean and are completly unchanged from these
"350 million year old" fossils. Looking at the living coelacanth we can
see that it has only ever been a coelacanth and will never be anything
else.
Here is another fish tale told by the backward thinking crowd of those who
claim evolution to be a "fact".

They actually say that very close relatives of this fish go back
as far as 360 million years ago, and that they are known in the
fossil record until about 80 million years ago.
It's accurate to state that the Coelacanth *Family* (which would
include numerous sub-species) goes back almost 400 million
years, not this exact (and unchanged) fish.
But coelacanths have been found living in the ocean and are
completly unchanged from these "350 million year old" fossils.
Which of the 120 species of Coelacanths are you speaking of?
By the way, 119 of those species are currently extinct.
Looking at the living coelacanth we can see that it has only
ever been a coelacanth and will never be anything
else.
A single one of the 120 species of Coelacanths was a close enough
match to its environment to allow it to continiously produce another
generation.
Nobody is suggesting that this *One* species of Coelacanths has
always existed for almost 400 million years, or that there are no
*Different* species that are attributed to the Coelacanth lineage.
One theory has them related to sharks (which they closely resemble,
anatomically, at some level), while another theory places them in
line with amphibians.
Here is another fish tale told by the backward thinking crowd of
those who claim evolution to be a "fact".
Again, there are 120 known species of Coelacanths, 119 of them
currently extinct. Rather than a single, unbroken line stretching back
almost 400 million years (as you imply), the fossil record demonstrates
a great many evolutionary changes occurring over a vast period of time.
Your mindless conclusion is based on a gross inaccuracy.

No, actually, there's more than one theory.
The Coelacanth can be compared to both amphibians (such as
frogs) and sharks... while few (if any) seem willing to entertain
both possibilities.

explode. A recent documentary, NOVA I believe, photographed them
underwater.

The really odd thing is that people like MurphyInOhio seem to
think that displaying ignorance and illogic will somehow
convert people to their views. Maybe they're fishing for
other ignorant and illogical people as recruits to be the
next generation of creationists?
Hint for Murphy: If you can't oppose someone else's position
without misrepresenting and twisting it, odds are there's
something wrong with either your understanding of it, your
opposition to it, or both. Come back when you've studied

Speaking of fossils - I found an absolutely spectacular ammonite today!
Not as good as the one my geology instructor found - it was three feet
across. Mine is only three inches - but the internal structure is
preserved - in a snow white mineral - quartz maybe? Estimated age 600
million years.
