Color Blind Negro's |
There is a lot of controversy going on about the
term "in the best interest of the children" when it
comes to"blacks"and the Child Protective Services dealing with
abuse cases. One of the things that is said is that
that the best interest of the children has to be
put on a scale with the sanctity of the blacks,
and then the kids are put into a white family .
I know there are logical errors in saying that there
can be something that protects one family but hurts
the children in a normal family.
What is going on here and how come this argument
is so hard to refute?

What exactly does this have to do with atheism?

I don't know what's going on here, but if the argument involves the
"sanctity of the blacks", I'd sure like to know exactly what that
statement means in the context of a color blind society.
I suppose that when the welfare of children is involved, I become
color blind myself. Perhaps I'm strange, but in determining the fate
and future of the children, I'd think that the backgounds and historic
behavior patterns of both families would say more about their
qualifications to raise children than would their race.

And what does this have to do with any of the newsgroups you crossposted it
in?
