Does Gawd make new ones? How? Where? What out of? How many of them can
dance on the head of a pin?

I think we should be told.
It's part and parcel of the failure of religion. There is no judgment
day, ergo their is no knowing when the judgment day will happen, ergo,
the number of souls is a moot point, because there is no after life.
And the gods big book of names, is more of the fun mythology, that
people are trying to make into law.
