CLICHÉ/CANARD REVISITED
"A May 25, 2006, program on National Public Radio’s “All Things
Considered" was titled, "The Trucker's War: On the Road in Iraq" and
it referenced that tired old canard "There are no atheists in
foxholes." Essentially, this says that when real danger threatens,
everyone chooses to believe in mythology as insurance..."
