I'm curious as to what kind of research may have been done into shared thought
processes or shared memories between conjoined twins. I would imagine that the
more intertwined the neurological systems of the twins are, the more likely it
would be that some of their senses of awareness and some of their thoughtstreams
belong to both of them. Fully separated identical twins are sometimes claimed
to have "ESP" with each other, a claim which I naturally doubt. But when you're
in the same body, well, we don't know yet exactly how the mind works and if it's
all actually stored in the brain or not. It seems like two people sharing at
least part of a neurological system would have to have -some- degree of mental
crossover.
It's an extremely specialized field of interest, I won't be surprised if there's
no info. But does anyone know of any such research? :-?
