Conversation with my xian brother about the Di Vinci Code |
No body knows who my brother Jerome's father is. My other brothers and
I are fair complected and blond Jerome could pass for a Latino or
Hasidic Jew. Also more telling is that it was always thrown my
brothers and my face that Jerome has an IQ of 180. None of us
approaches this level of intelligence.
Long story short, Jerome left the feel good Catholic Church to find
something a little more controlling. First Mormon, then Baptist.
I asked him what he thought of the Tomb of Jesus special.
He said it negates everything in the Di Vinci code book.A book that
caused half of all Christians to stop believing ( where did he get
this from?).
I said Jerome the Di Vinci code is a work of fiction,.
No it isn't, we were all told it was true! Anyone remember this?
Anyway Syria, Iran, Libya etal are massing their nuclear weapons and
in three to ten years I will wish I had never been born for the next
57 years (Anyone explain this one?).

divorced man in the history of our family. Then came drugs, alcohol,
satanism, and finally an ex nun and renewed faith in Catholicism.
Jerome attempted to return everything he ever stole.
Growing up with Jerome and trying to hang on to your processions was a
challenge. I went to buy some beer in college and found that Jerome
had stolen all my id and sold them to someone else.

That is terrible. I am sure there are resources in your community,
places you can go for support and help. The Usenet is great for
getting specific information regarding a specific objective issue, it
is great for free-wheeling discussion, but it is not really a good
place for steps that require personal trust.

places you can go for support and help. The Usenet is great for

I reported the sexual assault of a thirteen year old girl months ago
to the protective services. She is still with the same family. They
don't sexually assault her in public anymore. Adaptive behavior. When
it comes to kids, acknowledging child abuse is to painful, for most
adults. And really what can you do? You are ultimately at the child
abusers mercy. If I beat up a child abuser, I will be made an example
of.

Yes, Jim Beam is not a good parental tool. This is why I hate
Christianity, they either turn a blind eye to child abuse or actually

Living with Jerome and two alcoholic parents was not fun. I use humor
to deal with it. As far as people go if they are fun to be around I
like them, if they are not fun to be around I don't like them.
Regardless of Race, Color, Religion, or National Origin. I grew up
with DPs. Mostly they were assholes, but their kids were usually very
nice and easy to get along with. I have a Polish last name. The Jewish
DPs hated me. Why? I was a 15 year old American youth with ethics and
high morals. I had never been to Poland or Warsaw. Let he who has not
sinned cast the first stone.
BTW Jerome has dark hair but light complexion. I have met 2,000,000
Latinos and many of them were light skinned, I have also met about
20,000 Hasidic Jews, most of whom hated me because of my Nation of
Origin.
I have loved Jews both figuratively and literally, I would love to see
Ava again.
