Creationists Have No Answer |
news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/3223708.stm
reveals new evidence that an asteroid may, after all, be responsible
for the Permian extinction 250 million years ago, the cause of which
has been long debated. The Permian extinction was far more deadly
than the more popularly known K-T impact which appears to have kissed
off the dinosaurs.
The Earth reveals undeniable proof that we have, in the past, been
smashed repeatedly by large asteroids. If the Earth were only 6,000
years old, as creationists claim, then these impacts must have
occurred during human history, yet creationists have absolutely no
explanation whatsoever for the Bible's complete silence on these
repeated, massive impacts which any human alive could not fail to have
noted.
It's yet one more nail in the capacitous coffin of creationism.

Not really.
There were so many nails already in there that this one wouldn't fit.
Doesn't stop people being morons though.

Is it really necessary to try to disprove creationism? people who believe in
the irrational won't change. Others you waste their time.

I think that coffin has enough nails in it to make a battleship, but
they will probably invent some new lie to cover this one too.
