Congrats that ONE judge rules out the possibility of an equally probable
alternative based on propaganda of the theory of evolusion. What a dopehead
cangaroo court system. That would never fly here in Norway where the
majority of the whole people would make the call, like a true democricy would.

Interestingly enough, only about three percent of Norwegians go to
church on Sunday, regularly. Goes to show how helpful having an
official state religion is.

Don't look at me, don't know but I think they need a place to go if they
have weddings and funerals and at Christmas time. Other churches meet
all the time, only the main church is somewhat low on visitors.

Since you're bragging about Norway, and are clearly a xian, yes, I
_am_ looking at you.
You silly person, they don't _need_ a church for those things.
Besides, xmas is a total crock of *****.

What some people do is smear brandy butter on it, then set it alight.
It's nice but you can't eat a lot of it

Yes, and that fruitcake is called Saba Gracile.

Since you're bragging about Norway, and are clearly a xian, yes, I
_am_ looking at you.

You silly person, they don't _need_ a church for those things.
Besides, xmas is a total crock of *****.

But I like christmas pudding!

Eeeww, what IS that, exactly? I probably shouldn't say anything as I'm
probably the only person on the planet that likes fruit cake.

That's two of us, I love fruit cake. I consider Christmas to be the
most evil of the Xmas celebrations. Especially for the poorest of
children, that try so hard to be good, to no avail.

But Xmas? BAH, HUMBUG! HATE IT!!

Don't look at me, don't know but I think they need a place to go if they
have weddings and funerals and at Christmas time.

I was married in the day room of my wife's great-grandmother's nursing
home. They gave us the room for free, the seniors loved having us
there, and it was the only way Nana could attend.
The last wedding I attended was at Hakone Gardens.
http://www.hakone.com/
No church needed.
The last funeral I attended was at a biker bar. We toasted the dead
man's memory, told stories, laughed, cried, and as dawn broke we rode
400 strong to the pier where his ashes were taken and scattered in the
waves he loved.
No church needed.
I spent last Christmas at my Mom's apartment. My brother and his
family were up from Los Angeles, and my sister came over for a while
with her husband and Kylie the Wonder Baby. We exchanged gifts, ate,
and caught up on each other's lives.
No church needed.

Other churches meet
all the time, only the main church is somewhat low on visitors.

3% isn't low. It's anemic.

I kind of like the Catholic church in that one can just hop inside
to confess if one feels like it. At least it is there with it's open doors.

Why do you need to go to Church? Where is confession in the Bible?
Didn't Jesus say that only he could wash away sin, and that
conversations between you and God were to be private?

One should also confess our sins to eachother. Its up to oneself what to do
but the belief in that one can be forgiven is more important than exactly what
you do with this or not.

I've got some news for you, sweetums. Scientists do disagree on some
points of evolutionary theory, to be sure, just as they do with all
theories. But there is no great controversy over evolution except in

Somehow I don't believe that, as minor details (such as 'where does this bone go,
and what does it fit with') in one of the utter few of the specimens can be an all or
nothing conclusion on the theory of that particular line of development, so nope,
don't think it's that simple. I think they go apeshit over eachothers interpretations.

The beauty of science is that everything is open for discussion. If
you can show evidence that the current model of evolution is
incorrect, write up a paper and submit it for review.
I'm an amateur astronomer. You may have heard that NASA and the ESA
recently dropped a probe on Saturn's moon Titan.
What you didn't hear is the sound of theories crashing all over the
place. Well-crafted models of Titan's surface conditions were thrown
out the window as we got good data back from Hugyens. While some
scientists were annoyed to see their views proven wrong, everyone was
happy to get good data.
Now, back to evolution.. there is over 150 years of evidence to
support evolution. Observational data, experimental data, computer
models.. everything supports evolution as the mechanism of speciation
on Earth.
There has been no scientific evidence presented to support creation.
