The Christian persecution complex got another workout recently. An
upcoming art exhibit of 25 Star Wars robots on crucifixes has got the
Christians in a lather.

The way they carry on, you would almost think that the crucifixion myth
was actually unique to Christianity.

If it can ever be driven home to the seat of theological intelligence
that the whole Christian Bible is just a somewhat specialized collection
of the same stories, myths and allegories as constituted the mythical
aggregations of Greece and other countries, it will mark the day-break
of the new and true light on Biblical exegesis.
