Daily Spirit-guided thought for 9/29/07. |
Dear friend,
You have an immortal soul.
Love resides in the heart of your soul.
If you have ever loved another with your heart, such as your mom, your
dad, your sibling(s), your spouse, or your child(ren), you know you
have a soul.
There is only one GOD, Who is the Author of all reality.
HE has given each of us the free will to choose to either obey HIM by
doing that which is right or not. Without the free will, there would
be no love in our hearts for us to be aware that we have souls.
Disobeying GOD by not doing that which is right is sin.
Just as ignorance of speed limit postings is not an acceptable excuse
for speeding, ignorance of what is right will not be an acceptable
excuse for sinning.
Just as the price for speeding is expensive, the price for sinning
will be expensive in that it will be a death sentence for your
otherwise immortal soul. The gradual deterioration of our bodies as
we continue to do that which is not right serves to remind us of the
ultimate penalty of death for our souls.
This latter penalty in isolation is extreme and harsh and not
befitting GOD, Whom I know most assuredly, without doubt, to be kind,
just, and right.
GOD's kindness here is manifest in the infinite mercy HE has shown us
by allowing HIS one and only begotten Son, LORD Jesus Christ, to
suffer terribly and die horribly on the cross in our place as full
payment for our deadly sins:

As I still love my wife,
I am very aware that I am doing this with my brain.
Scientist have already discovered what chemical compound caused me to
be so very existed about here around the time of our marriage and
psychologists have been studying, why I will or will not keep loving

The number of Gods is aproximately zero.
Sorry, but ignorance is a morally acceptable excuse for speeding,
in may not be a legal excuse, but morally it is a very good one.
Obeying an allmighty tyrant is not moral,
Morally, one should only do what an allmighty tyrant says if it is
morally acceptable.
That is the trait of martyrs: Defying tyrants when it is morally right

Sorry, the templeton research didn't say people wouild die from beiing
told that they were being prayed for, it said that more often they had
complictions during surgery that followed. Since you started saying
you were praying for me (and apparently for all members of al.atheism,
I haven't had any surgery:)
Of course you should now, that if you answer people's honest replies
with "you are untruthfull", chances that people take you serious are
getting smaller.
If the holy spirit convicts me, I am sure, he will have the decency to
send me a signed copy of the verdict. As I haven't received it yet, I
suppose it is you who are giving false evidence.
Or am I mistaken, and doesn't the holy spirit have any decency?
