Charles Darwin and Abraham Lincoln both were born on February 12, 1809.

Lincoln emancipated a lot of people from slavery. Darwin emancipated a
lot of people from dogmatic religion.

Hip hip hurray for both Darwin and Lincoln. Let us all hope that all
religions begin to fade into obscurity, on a faster curve than bigotry and
slavery has done so in this country. The diminution of slavery and bigotry
have at the very least least had a good start in this country, over the last
100 years. Let us all hope that over the next 100 years, religions of all
form will be relegated to the same place in history that bigotry and slavery
is now.
It becomes apparent, if given even a modicum of critical thought, that
bigotry and slavery have been the currency of many of the religions of this
world over the last two Millennia in particular, if not millennia before
that.
In just the last few hundred years, the people and scholars of this world
have just begun to recognize many of the meanings of the facts generated by
our scholars across this world. There is no God, or gods, or demons, or
devils, or other supernatural beings of any kind associated with this world
or this universe.
We must all strive to educate our young people in a way that allows them to
see the true facts in the reality of their existence, unencumbered by the
mysticisms, that have marred human life for the last five millennia, at the
very least. Have we not lived long enough encumbered by the mysticisms of
our Stone Age forefathers, and all the tragedy that these misconceptions
have wrought upon human life.
Thank you, Mr. Darwin and thank you, Mr. Lincoln, for the great
contributions you have made in striving to bring the human race, more fully
out of the stone age, and the mysticisms of the Stone Age.
Later Larry
