DAVE KONG SPEAKS THURSDAY, FEB. 5
"ATHEISM 101," North Hills, CA.
DAVE KONG, California State Director for American Atheists, will
be the guest speaker this Thursday evening, February 5 at the
"Philosophical and Spiritual Discourse" meeting, Mid-Valley
Regional Library in North Hills, California.
His topic will be "Atheism 101," a discussion of:
* Why Atheists do not believe in any God
* What Atheists do believe in
* The social and political implications of being an Atheists

Dave Kong is a member of the National Board of Directors of
American Atheists, and serves as California State Director. He
has organized demonstrations, testified in front of city council
and State Judiciary Committee hearings, and made numerous media
appearances. In 1998, he spearheaded a statewide effort to
defeat California's Religious Freedom Protection Act. Kong
has been a plaintiff in two federal lawsuits involving First
Amendment issues.
"Atheism 101" begins at 6:30 PM sharp this Thursday, at the
Mid-Valley Regional Library, 16244 Nordhoff St. in North
