David Barton, Ten Steps To Change America |
Ten Steps To Change America
by David Barton

Excerpts:
"What can be done to halt the havoc loosed on the United States since
the early 60s? There must be two reversals, the first and most obvious
one must occur in our national public stance toward God: the Supreme
Court's current ban on the acknowledgment of God and the use of His
principles in public is a direct challenge to Him and has thus triggered
the law of national accountability, subjecting the nation to severe
consequences. Therefore, our current national public stand against God
must be set aside.
The second reversal must center on the restoration of the personal
benefits derived from living by Godly principles. For example, when the
Courts ruled that students might not use the Ten Commandments, nor study
the Scriptures, nor learn about sexual abstinence, etc., the separation
of these teachings caused personal, individual harm to those students,
as forewarned in Deuteronomy 6:24 and 10:13:
No matter which position a candidate is seeking, scrutinize his stands.
Some candidates will argue that since they are seeking only the position
of justice-of-the-peace, city-treasurer, dogcatcher, etc., that their
stands on issues like abortion will have no bearing on their office.
While that statement may seem innocuous, it is misleading.
Be a Christocrat; get involved with solid Godly candidates no matter
what their party."

Every time the right screws things up by using one of their pet
theories, they reach out for a farther right theory in hopes of their
salvation, and then they ride it until it, too, fails.
Before long, they stand before the precipice on the right, with the only
theory left to them that of God.
Every time the left screws things up by using one of their pet theories,
they reach out for a farther left theory in hopes of their salvation, and
then they ride it until it, too, fails.
Before long, they stand before the precipice on the left, with the only
theory left to them that of God.
Don't you think God must get a little tired of people avoiding the reality
that people are just people who make mistakes and who need forgiveness
daily?
And that punishing every Tom ***** and Harry for their sins is not their
job or Rush Limbaugh's job or Newt Gingrich's job or some televangelist's,
but His?
And that saving a nation is not God's work, but a saving a man by simply
having him learn to forgive man for being man is?
Think.. God gave you the gift, so use it: If man was made in God's
image, do you think God wants you to persecute the image of God in His name?
