Object: Dawkins Books?
Been asked for an xmas list of books I would like to read. So I ambled
down to the local Waterstones. In the Popular Science section were quite a
few Richard Dawkins books, but they were all with him wearing his biologists
hat. can someone recommend some of his "hard atheism" writings?
I noticed in there that "religion" has a whole damn section all on it's
own. Even the "paranormal" had it's own collection of UFO, ghosts etc etc in
a separate section. Alternative medicine (those damned crystals again! Even
diagnosing people using the ear as a map... Jeez!) had a splendid section.
But rational thought? Humanism? Atheism? Not a sausage... zero, zilch..
nada... Typical!

Subscribe to Free Inquiry magazine....he often contributes, and he
usually wears the hat you are looking for.

Other than that, what are you looking for?
after all, there's nothing to write about atheism, since it's merely a
lack of a belief in god.

Dawkins' "A Devil's Chaplain" not atheist enough for you?
(Hard to please, aren't you?) ;)
E.O. Wilson's "Consilience" is worth a read.
