A child puts up a web site claiming that adults are so terrible
telling them that there are no monsters under the bed, and other
children jump to defend the site.
What can adults do but smile a little smile and hope that the children
grow up safely.

They could offer them some education.

We do, they still argue that they're correct, or that, by telling them
that they're wrong, we're being condescending, or we're acting line
know-it-alls - anything but accepting that we just know something that
they don't.

That is not my idea of education.
I mean making all the relevant evidence freely available, and
discussing the pros and cons in a rational manner, and letting them
decide.
(But from a fully informed stance)
Which is exactly my practise with the various infants that have been
my responisiblity, and it seems to have a 100% sucess rate in turning
out rational and thinking adults.

If we get them when they're chronological infants. It worked in my
case too. The problem is when we get them as chronological adults,
but intellectual infants.
