What do you think about the simian God, who bestwoed upon the very wise and
all-knowing Lawgiver the Sacred Scrolls? Within said Scrolls, it stated that
God created apes in his image.

I will eat oatmeal. I'll get one of the variety packs of instant oatmeal
so I can try the different flavors. I like Apple cinnamon the best.
As far as cold cereal, I don't like the sugar coated ones, but I will
eat Cheerios, Puffed Wheat or Rice, Corn Flakes, etc. to which I'll
add some dried fruit like raisins, prunes, apricots, etc.
Most of the time though, it's just a roll or a bagel.
This morning the witchling and I had Rice Crispies. I can't remember the

When we were kids, my mom used to make something called Wheateena
(sp?).
It was sort of a cracked wheat hot cereal. It wasn't that bad. I
don't
know if they make it any more. I wonder if this is something
similar.
Dunno - I grew up on Maypo. Nasty stuff! Sat in my stomach like lead
:P
I tried it once too didn't like it. The hot cereal that I really didn't
like was Cream of Wheat. It had the consistency of glue and tasted just
a bad, at least to me.
LOL - I actually like Cream of Wheat and will have it for breakfast
sometimes when the weather's chilly. I usually go for either Raisin Bran
or
just some toast :)
I can't remember the
last time I had those. And my kid HATES sweet cereals. Only kid I know
that can't stand Lucky Charms because of all the marshmallows ;)
Granola. Every morning, almost without fail. I used to have it with
"Lactaid" skim milk, but I changed a medication about a year ago and my
lactose intolerance went off the scale. Now it's mixed with a little
oatmeal and hot water.
(*sniff* No more milkshakes, no more ice cream, no more banana splits, no
more hot fudge sundaes. I _loved_ ice cream. No more, though; it's
remarkably easy to give it up when one has such a strong, ah,
_incentive_ to do so.)

See, that wouldn't bother me - I don't like ice cream and think banana
splits are an abomination (which reminds me, I have freezer-burned ice cream
I have to toss).

Know what it is, but never tried it.
Takes a while to cook, and you have to immerse the pot after to
prevent it from setting up. I don't know if there's any whiz-bang
nutritional breakthrough, but I bet it's free of the usual nasties -
too many H's around the C's. I haven't had it recently but now that it
came up I'll do it this winter. It's a good cold morning thing.

Naturally sweet, aren't you? :)
(I meant drops of syrup, as well as honey, only enough to give a hint
of flavor, not to sweeten it.) So many foods, flavors and such, and
such a short life. Drat. Wouldn't it be scary if everyone liked all
the same ones? Kinda like religion in an awkward way, I blather.
