Deut 18:15 Throughout The Bible And The Qur'an |
MOSES TO THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL
14 The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice
sorcery or divination.
But as for you, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so.
15 The LORD your God will raise up for you CHRISTa prophet like me
from among your own brothers. You must listen to him.
16 For this is what you asked of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day
of the assembly when you said, "Let us not hear the voice of the LORD
our God nor see this great fire anymore, or we will die."
17 The LORD said to me: "What they say is good.
18 I will raise up for them CHRIST,a prophet like you from among their
brothers;
I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I
command him. 19 If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet
speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.
JESUS
25He said to them, "How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to
believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26Did not the Christ[b]
have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?" 27And beginning
with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in
all the Scriptures concerning himself. Luke 24:25
44He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with
you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law
of Moses,
the Prophets and the Psalms." Luke 24:44
JESUS
46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.
John 5:46
PETER
17"Now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your
leaders.
18But this is how God fulfilled what he had foretold through all the
prophets, saying that his Christ[a] would suffer.
19Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out,
that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,
20and that he may send the CHRIST, who has been appointed for you-
even Jesus.
21He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore
everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.
22For Moses said, 'The Lord your God will raise up for you CHRIST a
prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to
everything he tells you.
23Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from
among his people.'[b] Acts 3:17-23
STEPHEN
37"This is that Moses who told the Israelites, 'God will send you a
prophet like me from your own people.'[h]
38He was in the assembly in the desert, with the angel who spoke to
him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers; and he received living words
to pass on to us. Acts 7:37
PAUL
The Glory of the New Covenant
6He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant-
not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the
Spirit gives life.
7Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters
on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look
steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, fading though it
was,
8will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious?
9If the ministry that condemns men is glorious, how much more
glorious
is the ministry that brings righteousness!
10For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the
surpassing glory.
11And if what was fading away came with glory, how much greater is
the glory of that which lasts!
12Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.
13We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep
the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away.
14But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil
remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed,
because only in Christ is it taken away.
15Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.
16But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
17Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is freedom.
18And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect[a]
the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-
increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
THE QUR'AN
Let it be known that the Qur'an cancelled out Paul's doctrines, yet
both versions
of Christianity appealled to Moses Torah for the case for Jesus as the
Christ/Messiah
It is a perfect EQUILIBRIUM.
THE TEXT OF THE QUR'AN
Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying: "I give you a
Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a messenger/Christ, confirming what
is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help." Allah said:
"Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said:
"We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the
witnesses."
Those who turn their back after this are perverted transgressors. 3:81

If this is not the point in Deut 18:15 then you know no point.
Can anyone still claim that Deut 18:15 is not about Messiah?

We have people who would be happy to know how
their Scripture is structured. Failure to understand that
had them think that Atheism and Evolution were more
intellectually fulfilling than Christianity...

Deut. 18:15 isn't about messiah any more than Deut 18:14 is,
but you'll never understand it if you refuse to read it.

Too bad for you. I already had some close calls with death. Not as

Existence of Nazareth is not a matter of FAITH or Salvation

If this is not the point in Deut 18:15 then you know no point.
Can anyone still claim that Deut 18:15 is not about Messiah?
More to the point: who the ***** cares?
Smart people do... unfortunately you are not one of them
Smart people care about stone age fairytales? Monsieur is
archeologist?
Smart people in fact care about any relevant issues which
plague mankind and society. Monkeys want bananas

Smart people believe. In the Lasagna god who will give them lasagna
for all eternity. And punish -omnibenevolent as the god is -
unbelievers with eternal torture.
Nothing you can't do about it... You will find it out though
only 1 second after you depart this world

Jesus is the Evidence
As soon as you provide evidence that Jesus, as described in the Gospels,
existed, we might have something to discuss. Right now you have no
evidence to support your claim.

There is nothing to argue about Jesus victory over death.
He came back to life so that we may have hope for resurrection.
