Has Mr Evibible stopped posting his evilbible quotes? I said that I
would stop posting my quotes to the atheist groups if he stopped
posting his to the christian groups. I haven't seen one since, but
maybe he is on vacation. But I will keep my word and will stop
cross-posting to the atheist groups unless and until he starts up
again.

Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead!"
Ding Dong! The Witch is dead! Which old Witch?
The Wicked Witch! Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is dead.
Wake up - sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed.
Wake up, the Wicked Witch is dead.
She's gone where the goblins go,
Below - below - below. Yo-ho, let's open up and sing and ring the
bells out.
Ding Dong the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low.
Let them know the Wicked Witch is dead!
PART II
As Mayor of the Munchkin City, in the County of the Land
of Oz, I welcome you most regally.
But we've got to verify it legally, to see;
To see?
If she,
If she?
Is morally, ethic'lly,
Spiritually, physically, Positively, absolutely,
Undeniably and reliably Dead!!
As Coroner I must aver, I thoroughly examined her. And
she's not only merely dead, she's really most sincerely dead.
Then this is a day of Independence for all the Munchkins
and their descendants!
If any!
Yes, let the joyous news be spread the Wicked Old Witch at last IS
dead!!!!
-------------------------------
(Not that they are directly relevant, but I throw these in as extras--
just for the atheists. )
-------------------------------
"If I only had a brain..."
I could while away the hours, conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain.
And my head I'd be scratchin' while my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.
I'd unravel every riddle for any individ'le,
In trouble or in pain.
With the thoughts you'll be thinkin' you could be another Lincoln
If you only had a brain.
Oh, I could tell you why the ocean's near the shore.
I could think of things I never thunk [sic] before.
And then I'd sit, and think some more.
I would not be just a nothin' my head all full of stuffin'
My heart all full of pain.
I would dance and be merry, life would be a ding-a-derry,
If I only had a brain.
"If I only had a heart..."
When a man's an empty kettle he should be on his mettle,
And yet I'm torn apart.
Just because I'm presumin' that I could be kind-a-human,
If I only had heart.
I'd be tender - I'd be gentle and awful sentimental
Regarding Love and Art.
I'd be friends with the sparrows ... and the boys who shoots the
arrows
If I only had a heart.
Picture me - a balcony. Above a voice sings low.
Wherefore art thou, Romeo?
I hear a beat...how sweet.
Just to register emotion, jealousy - devotion,
And really feel the part.
I could stay young and chipper and I'd lock it with a zipper,
If I only had a heart.

Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead!"

Ding Dong! The Witch is dead! Which old Witch?
The Wicked Witch! Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is dead.

Did that fill you with glee to kill your little friend?
Did that ease your suffering or bring it to an end?
Let go!
All of your anger will poison you yet,
Unless you can just let go.
Nothing more need be said.
Ding, dong, the ***** is dead.

Just be careful the wicked witch of the west doesn't get you first.

No, you've admitted you are doing nothing but playing a tit-for-tat game
worthy of a five year old. You've *tried to make it sound like something
"more" than that but *always go back to your childish tantrum. That and
having a hissy fit about "I can do whatever I want and you can't stop me
nyah, nyah."
Funniest part of all this is you are confirming what most folks in
alt.atheism think of as the true character of Christians.
(Oh and showing that you have as much respect for your holy book as we do)

I'm his 3rd cousin 8 generations removed ;)

Cool! Details, details! :)

I'm an umptygreat grand kid of John and Abigail Adams, and Butch Cassidy was
my grandfather's first cousin.
Stinkin' kid shot a hole in my great grandfather's brand new 'secretary'
(furniture, not pretty typist) as they were moving it into his office. Seems
there was a bank robbery going on at the time. G'grandpa was FURIOUS...this
was in a town called Montpelier, Idaho; the sheriff took off after the gang
on his bicycle (didnt' have time to get the horse)
Needless to say, they weren't caught that day. ;-)
I still have the secretary and can show you the bullet hole.
And now, you can claim to be related to Butch Cassidy too!!

Y'know, I love genealogy. Not because I get a list of 'begats', but because
every one of those 'begetters' were real people with real stories, lives and
experiences, with lessons to teach us now.
Besides, it's a WHOLE lot of fun to find out about stuff like Butch Cassidy.

You mean you've been _punishing_ alt.atheism by intiating pro-Biblical
rants in exchange for the anti-Biblical rants being lobbed at you by
EvilEditor? Well I'm sorry you wasted your time. I, for one, didn't even
notice, and I doubt seriously that I'm the only one. So it doesn't matter
to me if you continue or refrain from your cross-posted sermons. If I
haven't noticed them before this, I'm not likely to notice them any time
soon, either.

Uncle?

(grin)

Yeah, I noticed that, smartypants. ;-) But only because the subject was
"ding dong". If there's been some sort of.... hmmm... not sure what
they'd be called.... "Good Bible Quote of the Day," perhaps? Anyway, if
there have been those kinds of posts being made, I've still not seen them.

That's because you're an immature brat with no self-control.

Not to mention, using the Christian holy text as nothing but a stick to
poke somebody with is *seriously disrespectful. You show as much regard
for the bible as an atheist might...

There is a difference between "poking" or punishing, and responding.

Indeed, & responding you are not. You are doing nothing to indicate that
the quoted verses are in fact, erroneous, You do no background information,
nothing about the context, & even less about how the gore is good for it is
desired by your sugar daddy to be.

My posts were a response to his. I wasn't posting in the same thread

No they weren't, they had nothing to do with his posts. It was a childish
reaction & typical. I can't answer the facts, so I will just post my trash
to your group & pretend they have merit. You did & they do not.

but they were responses nonetheless. That is what the newgroups are
all about, people post and others respond. I didn't like the way he
was using the Bible and so I responded. So what?

So screw you. If you continue, I can assure you that comcast will tire of
your continued childish games that violate the faq.
I have no problem in going back to day one & forwarding the information,
along with the post you just made indicating it was in revenge from your
point of view.
Until your outright admission in this group today that it was nothing but
petty spite on your part, I was neutral. I am no longer so.
