The short answer is "No, not really, not on their pet peeve."
If they actually had a valid scientific discipline and really were
doing research into positive evidence for their beliefs, they would be
publishing like the world was ending. They're not:

Although DI will try and convince you otherwise. Oddly when you look
at the list of publications on ID it's either the Sternberg affair,
their own books, philosophy journals or two publications specifically
relating to design and conspicuously populated by ID proponents. Funny

In order to actually *convince* anyone, they would have to demonstrate
their publishing, and they simply cannot because they have nothing to
publish. Neither they nor anyone else can list anything of
significance.
They've *never* published a single paper that casts doubt on the
demonstrated supremacy of the Theory of Evolution, nor have they
offered even a pretence of a scientific Theory that better explains the
facts.
Typically if a science paper is published that opens a new vista onto
our scientific understanding of the universe, it's immediately followed
by a flurry of other papers expanding that vista. The creationists
haven't even reached first base. Nor will they ever because they do no
research. Instead, all they do is whine about how badly their butts
are being kicked by the evolutionists and then call that science!
