On the morning of May 11 2001 Douglas Adams, the bestselling author of
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, had a fatal heart attack while
working out at a Santa Barbara gym. He had moved to California two
years before, after signing a deal with Disney to make a
long-cherished, oft-delayed film of his work. Adams was 49 and
suffering from high blood pressure and an arrhythmic heartbeat. When he
died it looked as though the film would die with him.

It would have been great if the movie had been released on April 2
(4/2. For those not familiar with the series, the number 42 has a
important meaning in the story). Although if given the choice, I would
rather they take an extra month to work on it and make it better rather
than have an in-joke for a release date.

Converting from the English system was "too hard" for Barbie.
I am surprised that men didn't pick up on the fact that 18 cm is ever so

Douglas Adams was a Brit, so that should be the 4th of February...

And that in joke only works for those countries that normally express
their date in that format. here in Oz it would have to be released on
4th. of Feb.

works locally?
