Object: Druids sue Scientology for access to holy sight
January 13, 2006
AP - Las Vegas, New Mexico
A Druid organization in Albuquerque has sued the Church of Spiritual
Technology (CST) for access to what they claim is a holy site similar
to Stonehenge near Trementina, New Mexico. CST owns the site where a
mysterious symbol has appeared on their property.
Two large interlocking circles appeared at CST's property east of
Las Vegas within the past few years. The circles are so large they are
only visible from high above.
Aleister Churchill, High Priest of southwestern U.S. Druids, stated
in the lawsuit filed in Albuqerque yesterday that these circles are
sacred markings similar to Stonehenge in England. His lawsuit claims
that CST had uncovered the Druid site and upset world harmony by doing
so. His organization had tried to gain access by negotiating with CST
- a branch of the Church of Scientology - but the talks had broken
down because of a dispute over what rites could be performed there.
"The Scientologists at first tried to see our point of view,"
Churchill said in a press conference Thursday morning at the
Albuquerque Druid Center. "But when we started talking about our
Purification Rites to restore the site to it's original holy state,
that's when they shut us down," he said. "This site is an intermediary
point between the physical and spiritual world," Churchill said. "And
now that it has been uncovered and desecrated by a false religion, it
must be restored to its pure state."
The suit seeks access to the site based on freedom of religion. The
Druids claim in the suit that the site must be fenced off and kept as
it is after the cleansing rituals are completed.
The Church of Spiritual Technology had not responded to inquiries by
press time.

I can find nothing whatsoever on AP Newswire or on Google about a
druid group suing Scientology, Aleister Churchill, or the Albuquerque
Druid Center. May I ask where you found this?

The Church of Spiritual Technology won't let independent scientists exam the
site either for fear that it will be
revealed as a Hokes!

Remember, parents-to-be, if you name your baby "Aleister," it will
always be able to find employment in the booming loony religion industry!
If there'd been an Aleister around at the time, Stang would never have
gotten his current gig.
