Duke???...Where are yoooouuu???? |
Read my lips, ms libby, one moment after you die, you too will stand
before God to answer
for what you did while in the flesh.
You don't want to believe me - fine. It's your funeral, not mine.
duke
*****
Duke...Is God all forgiving?
If he is, I'll be right behind you at the Pearly Gates.
And we'll both get in, right?
No answer, Duke???
Is God an all forgiving God or not?
Difficult conundrum isn't it?
While you reckon I'll be going straight to hell, it would appear, if God is
all forgiving, that I'll be just as forgiven as you expect to be.
God loves all sinners, Duke.
Perhaps he even loves you more than me?
Doesn't that ***** you off a little?
Still no answer, Duke?
....Duke???????

Hey, join the queue I am still waiting to responces to my post.
I pleaded I asked him nicely but he won't even give me any of
this evidence he claims of of his concept 'god'. Seems I am not
choosen. How do I apply to be chosen in order to get this
evidence?
Maybe we should put them all together in a big list and append
it to each of his posts?

Christianity is many things. There are plenty of Christians who believe

Also, many of us are ex-Christians so I don't see how you can claim we have

Religioius belief gives us a great head-ups over atheists in the moral

Religion is an inversion of morality in that it places human needs secondary
to itself. The morality of religion is an abomination.
Nope, God calls us to place our own human needs secondary to the human needs
of others.
If by "others" you mean "His."
Burn, baby, burn.
What does burning babies have to do with serving your "God"?
....
Oh, yeah... lots. Just look at Iraq. And those "evil-doers" wiped out
by "God's chosen" in the Bible.

If I understand you correctly, you are saying that the God you believe

Is
that what you're saying (just to be sure)?
Yes, I believe that.
Well, I'm not going to argue with that. The believers who insist that
'God'
judges us based on religious conviction rather than actual behaviour turn
their 'God' into a moral monstrosity. I'm glad to hear you don't believe
that.

Which is why I laugh at some of the atheist thoughts here on the ng.
Absolutely no idea what Christianity is about, yet they reject it.
So, really, even an atheist can get into heaven, according to your
dogma?

The magic words are: those that do the will of the Father who is in heaven. His will is
fully revealed in John 13:34 - Love one another as I love you.

In the words of the great poet: "Your love is like bad medicine."
Especially when you say endearing stuff like "burn baby burn" and "it's
your funeral"... such love in those words.
Such "love" we can do without. It is dishonest, patronizing, and false
to the core.... wrapped in ideological rhetoric.
I just might be doing the alleged "will of the Father" more than *you*
do. Guess I'll be going to "heaven" even if I don't believe in it.

Yes, there's always that possibility.
So you'd better drop your beliefs and wake up to your own dishonesty
with others, including those who don't believe as you do... your very
fate may be resting on it.
After all, it's your funeral.
