Same here. Last nigh after a call I noticed the flag at half mast and asked
the chief to not bother doing that for me if he was still there when I went.
I sought out a place to donate my body in 1963 after I quit working for a

You probably wouldn't, but that don't mean that the rest of us would wish to be

God is not vengeful to anyone.

No.

But it will still make you *live* for all eternity.
The one thing that your god will not grant, is death.
Therefore, it is vengeful, and without mercy.
Or more simply put, *evil*.

I thought we would go to hell? Are you saying that you're
contradicting yourself?

Earl is bouncing back and forth between what he learned as a child and the
RCC's current version of "hell" which is much more humane.
It could be the booze or maybe he just likes to argue.
Give the RCC another few hundred years or a lot of pressure and I suspect
they will find that hell, currently described as the absence of god with no
more fire pits, is not the eternal damnation they speak of now.
There used to be a limbo and it's gone now.
The important question is where are all the people who ate meat on Friday?
Since sin is considered an offense against god and since the church changed
it's mind clearly it didn't offend god then - or it does now. No sin no
hell.

$100,000 to $124,999

The address I have shows an apartment complex.
I wonder what color Earl's car is? (http://earth.google.com/)

It's odd how much attention Earl pays and has always paid to our little
discussions about who he is while at the same time denying it is really him.

You call be earl weber so much I've almost forgotten what my real name is.
After all, there's no doubt you're referring to me - you've been at it for years
now.

name is. After all, there's no doubt you're referring to me - you've

You've been that way about your real name since it was found out.
"Someone identifies you as Earl Weber of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but you
insist
your name is "duke lebourgeois." Since we are on Usenet, and that is the
identity you have assumed, you haven't lied.
Alan discovers certain details concerning an Earl Weber of Baton Rouge,
Louisiana -- using techniques freely available to anyone who knows his way
about the internet. He posts some of those details. Since they are
deliberately incomplete, they are not enough to allow a passing psychopath
to send a letter bomb to this Earl Weber of Baton Rouge. But you take
umbrage, as if the incomplete personal details could, somehow, have an
impact on /your/ existence.Again, you haven't lied.
Perhaps you are merely voicing your concern over the privacy and safety of
Earl Weber of Baton Rouge. This seems uncharacteristically altruistic of
you, but stranger things have happened.
Alan poses a rhetorical question: Should he provide the credit history of
this Earl Weber of Baton Rouge?
"duke lebourgeois" responds as if he has just been the recipient of a
personal
threat. And still you haven't lied."
