Economists Contradict Kerry's Badmouthing
The president is "a giant corporation residing in the White House
camouflaging as a human being," Ralph Nader claims. Meanwhile, experts
aren't buying Sen. John Kerry's efforts to talk down the economic
expansion.
Economists Optimistic, but Kerry Keeps Attacking Bush's Policies

As Democrat John Kerry rails against President Bush's "failed policies
on the economy," 56 economists surveyed by USA Today offered an
optimistic outlook on the U.S. economy. In fact, one of the economists
called this a "booming economy." According to the report Monday in USA
Today, employers are expected to "add jobs steadily as the economy
continues to expand."
The 56 economists surveyed by the newspaper predicted that businesses
and consumers would continue to spend more money as the jobless rate
falls. They expect inflation and interest rates to remain low.
USA Today noted that the rosy predictions come as jobs "take center
stage in the presidential election."
On Monday, Sen. John Kerry was campaigning in California, where he
planned to blast what he called President Bush's "failed policies."
According to a press release issued by Kerry's campaign, "John Kerry
will spend Cesar Chavez Day, Monday, in California talking about his
plan to create 10 million new jobs during his first term in office and
get the economy back on track."
But USA Today's survey indicates the economy is getting back on track
right now, under President Bush.
Hiring Boost Expected
"Business looks really very, very good," USA Today quoted Decision
Economics President Allen Sinai as saying. Sinai told the newspaper
that rising corporate profits would prompt more companies to hire more
workers in the weeks ahead.
"In the survey conducted March 19-24, 31% of the economists said they
expect hiring to begin in earnest in the second quarter," USA Today
reported. "More than half expected considerable gains in the second
half."
Kerry has pounced on President Bush for costing Americans their jobs.
On Saturday, after President Bush in his weekly radio address
discussed good news about rising home ownership, Kerry's campaign put
out the following rebuttal: "Nearly three million Americans have lost
their jobs since George Bush took office and the President's response
is to give himself a pat on the back."
In his radio address, President Bush said the economy was growing,
which is helping more Americans afford new homes. "Incomes are
rising," Bush said. "The unemployment rate is falling. Mortgage rates
are low. And because of tax relief, Americans have more to save, spend
and invest - and that means millions of American families have moved
into their first homes."
But in his response to Bush's radio address, Kerry said, "American
jobs are being shipped overseas, health care costs are overwhelming
working families, and George Bush still doesn't get it."
Kerry promised that "change is coming. When I'm President, we'll
pursue a bold new economic plan to jumpstart job creation, renew
American competitiveness, balance the budget, and create 10 million
new jobs in the next four years."
On Monday and Tuesday, Kerry was bringing his "10 million new jobs"
theme to California.
He planned to host a town hall meeting with students at a job training
facility in Sacramento on Monday. According to a press release from
the campaign, Kerry "will hear firsthand from students about the real
impact of Bush's policies - increased unemployment, more manufacturing
jobs lost, rising health care costs, skyrocketing gas prices and
decreased support for education - and talk about his plans to get the
economy back on track."
On Tuesday, at a rally at the University of California, San Diego,
Kerry planned to talk about "the economic impact of rising gas prices
and the effect on consumers and families," his campaign said.

Well the very popular Liberal pre-occupation with making more out of Ken
Lay and George Bush is but another example.
Ken Lay was the (corrupt) head dog of Enron while Bush was Governor of
Texas. Enron was one of the largest corporations and employers in
Texas, and a significant player in Texas's #1 industry.... oil. Why
would anyone be surprised that the State's Governor was not responsive
to the needs of one of the State's largest employers, and enabling
personal access to each other?
As for the depths of corruption within Enron and in the heart of Ken
Lay.... could you explain what executive powers you believe the Governor
of the State of Texas has over any individual corporation or its
executives? Presuming he had additional insight (more than President
Clinton) into their books..... Should he have single-handely close

This entire dialog by dishonest Liberals is another example why the
swing-voters continue to vote against your party and agenda, because you
have no message - just one-line zingers, firing for effect.

What the hell is going on with all us dishonest Liberals anyway.. We will
forever be indebted to such an exalted pillar of logic that you are sharing
with us all.. Who'd ever possibly connect millions of dollars of campaign
donations, to the exempted tax benefits that the governor granted to such a
man of integrity as Kenny.. No way.. Who'd ever assume that weekly and
weekend visits shared at these impeccable men's homes would suggest a
relationship other than as mere chums.. ridiculous, of course..

No. On the contrary, quite refreshing. You managed to infer the
operative word.... "assume". That has been my very point about dumb
Liberals all along. Quick, deep, and cavalier assumptions, usually hate
driven, then some theory gets created, perpetuated, and then believed.
I guess it's fun if that's what you're into, but sometimes it helps if
one learns from some of this.

"Volumes of lies"? Whew!
Some of y'all been listening to Billy so long now, that unless the
President declares abject denial as he pounds the podium in public for
effect, y'all don't recognize conviction in character when it confronts
you. This is not to say that the President's policies are right or
wrong, they are however, what he believes.
For the record... I am neither a Bush (Shrub as you put it) defender or
anything else other than honest. I may certainly get things wrong at
times, but am well beyond the vanity of ego preventing me from admitting
my errors in public. Further, I'd be only too happy to share and
debate his errors with many of you, except I remain over-whelmed by the
un-bridled hatred for this man, which remains aloft from pure
intentional dishonesty.

I'm a "Slow Learner".. I haven't got past the "learning curve"
where
I
"learned" to distinguish between courage and cowards.. lies and
truth..
Seems like all the Shrub defenders were absent the day those
words
were
assigned to be studied.. Maybe .. ya'll just keep forgetting.. Ah
well..
the
confusion is understandable.. considering the volumes of lies
Shrub
and
his
bunch have flooded the public with, who could be expected to sort
them
all
out and keep track.. Don't worry.. I will diligently reflect on
all
this
intelligence stuff and by November, I will have it all in order..

"Volumes of lies"? Whew!
Some of y'all been listening to Billy so long now, that unless the
President declares abject denial as he pounds the podium in public
for
effect, y'all don't recognize conviction in character when it
confronts
you. This is not to say that the President's policies are right
or
wrong, they are however, what he believes.
For the record... I am neither a Bush (Shrub as you put it)
defender
or
anything else other than honest. I may certainly get things wrong
at
times, but am well beyond the vanity of ego preventing me from
admitting
my errors in public. Further, I'd be only too happy to share and
debate his errors with many of you, except I remain over-whelmed
by
the
un-bridled hatred for this man, which remains aloft from pure
intentional dishonesty.
Good point
Water seeks it's own level doesn't it...You guys enjoy..
Why are you even responding?
You can get lost now. You said in another post your opinions.
No chance of me getting lost.. I am all over you counterfeit ***** and your
phony compassion for your fellow veterans..
No, you are not all over me..I tried to reason with you. You acted stupid.
You said adios..so why are you even bothering?
It looks like it is you that is bothering.
If you want to discuss issues without being ignorant, fine.
But how will you keep up?
I gave you a
chance.
I also showed you where you were wrong, you can't handle being wrong
As though Heishman could ever understand something others can't.
Saddam Hussein and Bin Ladden think the U.S. is "wrong" too.

How so?
Well the very popular Liberal pre-occupation with making more out of Ken
Lay and George Bush is but another example.
This sounds like a blatant dishonest presumption about liberals.
That wasn't the issue. He was crooked. He was friends with Bush.
Republicans had no trouble making a connection with White Water and
Clinton. Seventy million tax dollars later, no case.
As for the depths of corruption within Enron and in the heart of Ken
Lay.... could you explain what executive powers you believe the Governor
of the State of Texas has over any individual corporation or its
executives? Presuming he had additional insight (more than President
Clinton) into their books..... Should he have single-handely close
their doors? Arrest Ken Lay? Fine all the Stock Holders? What?
The executive must enforce the laws.
This entire dialog by dishonest Liberals is another example why the
swing-voters continue to vote against your party and agenda, because you
have no message - just one-line zingers, firing for effect.
This sounds like a blatant dishonest presumption about liberals. And
the majority of America voted for Gore. I don't deny liberals are more
apt to switch votes - they are thinkers, not sheep.

This is so excellent and revealing. If you are truly representative of
the typical Liberal Democrat Kerrey voter, then poor Kerrey might as
well pack it in and save the cash for Hillary, as she no doubt will be
the much needed breath of fresh air that classic Democrats are
desperately in need of, should the party intend to re-define themselves
for the social policies that they used to stand for.
Bill Walker, I for one sure do hope you get more vocal, visible and
popular. I know Kerrey will just love it, and seek choice photo-ops
with you. Great publicity for Kerrey I'm sure.

Walker in 2004.
It is my impression since consulting with the"party" and before making my
momentous decision to run, that the selection was narrowed to two
outstanding individuals.. Shirlyey Chisholm was also being considered.. It
was determined that her hatred of George could never equal mine, so I was
the candidate that was selected, on this basis.. My campaign will be
straightforward with a single message to my contituents.. "I detest Bush"..
All suggestions for slogans to strengthen this message would be appreciated,
from my supporters.. There seems to little likelihood that Dubya can survive
this campaign without being totally humiliated.. Our goal is to establish
this agenda so that no one with the family name of Bush will ever be tempted
to seek public office, ever again.. Thank you for your support..

Ken
Lay and George Bush is but another example.
This sounds like a blatant dishonest presumption about liberals.
Ken Lay was the (corrupt) head dog of Enron while Bush was Governor
of
Texas. Enron was one of the largest corporations and employers in
Texas, and a significant player in Texas's #1 industry.... oil.
Why
would anyone be surprised that the State's Governor was not
responsive
to the needs of one of the State's largest employers, and enabling
personal access to each other?
That wasn't the issue. He was crooked. He was friends with Bush.
Republicans had no trouble making a connection with White Water and
Clinton. Seventy million tax dollars later, no case.
As for the depths of corruption within Enron and in the heart of Ken
Lay.... could you explain what executive powers you believe the
Governor
of the State of Texas has over any individual corporation or its
executives? Presuming he had additional insight (more than
President
Clinton) into their books..... Should he have single-handely close
their doors? Arrest Ken Lay? Fine all the Stock Holders? What?
The executive must enforce the laws.
This entire dialog by dishonest Liberals is another example why the
swing-voters continue to vote against your party and agenda, because
you
have no message - just one-line zingers, firing for effect.
This sounds like a blatant dishonest presumption about liberals. And
the majority of America voted for Gore. I don't deny liberals are
more
apt to switch votes - they are thinkers, not sheep.
Dear David..
This is to advise you.. A leading Democratic Party official has
contacted me
with a distressing announcement.. Due to all the bad press and pressure
from
the white house, regarding the bad character of the apparent nominee for
the
Democratic presidential election of 2004, a decision has been reached..
After considering my qualifications for the office, i.e. I detest George
W.Bush.. I detest George Bush... I detest Shrub.. I detest Dubya.. I
detest
that whole bunch of lying bastards he associates with.. The powers that
be,
in the Democratic party have determined that I should immediately enter
the
race and commence my grassroots campaign for president in 2004.. In
light of
my many qualifications, the race should be quick and overhwhelmningly
successful, since most Americans are so fed up with Bush's sorry *****..
Contributions may be sent to some kind of address that I will reveal
later
in this campaign .. Thank you for your support..
Bill Walker

Better you than Bush.
Bill Walker
Irving, Tx..
Consider me as the veep.

Your name will be added to the long and extensive candidates for that
