ECW VS RAW, WCW VS SMACKDOWN! |
Man it's Wednesday and there is no wrestling show on, this sucks.
I got me my Raw on Monday, my ECW on Tuesday, nothing on Wednesday,
Ultimate Fight Night on Thursday, and Smackdown on Sunday.
WWE needs to bring back WCW to feud with Smackdown, one of the first to
jump ship to WCW should be Booker T, maybe bring back the nWo, and
Goldberg. It'd be awesome if they pull it off as good as they are ECW.

I doubt we'll ever see an nWo reunion anytime soon.Kevin Nash is in
TNA,Scott Hall is an alcoholic that can't get his life straightened
out,X-Pac is a druggie who also can't get his life straightened out,Hulk
Hogan is only interested in himself,Bret Hart can't wrestle anymore and
Jeff Jarrett pretty much runs TNA.
Also,Goldberg will probably never come back to WWE.He was said to have
hated WWE and it's soap operas both on TV and backstage. There are plans
to bring him into TNA,which is still being worked on,but he has an
upcoming movie he's starting to shoot,so it won't be until after
that, and after they come to terms, before we see him in TNA.

Dude it doesn't have to be those guys, you mention Kevin Nash like the
WWE can't get him, he's in TNA, what the ***** is TNA gonna do? Try to
sue WWE? I doubt it.
Goldberg isn't signed to TNA and people that represent TNA have said
they have no interest in him, as the Million Dollar Man would say,
everyone has a price, and Goldberg can be bought.
Hogan, he wants to come back, Vince just isn't offering him anything.
If they relaunch WCW I don't think I'd include Hogan, you just brought
him up man, not me, but if Vince really wanted him, he could get him.
Also guys like Alex Wright, Billy Kidman, Disco Inferno, Hugh Morrus,
DDP, Buff Bagwell, and many others could be bought up like that. Them
guys are just waiting for WWE to call them.
WCW could be put back together and it could be more true to the old WCW
than the new ECW is to the old ECW.
Face it man, I got all this ***** to back me up.

Look, if there's one thing that lovers of Guns n Roses (1989 version) ,
Van Halen (1980 version) and WCW (many versions, especially 1978-1986,
1996-1998) have to
start understanding, its that certain things of an artistic nature tend
to be in their
prime when -- and I hate to use this phrase -- the stars are aligned
just right.
Unfortunately, time is not stasis and neither are trends and tastes.
Most of the time, people love a particular movie, tv show or rock group
because in coincided with their teenage or college years and they spend
the rest of their life having adorations for that movie, tv show or
rock group. And I don't blame anyone for it. Lets face it growing up
and having to work a 9-5 sucks.
But the fact remains, that for metalheads its never going to be
1983-1988 again. For grunge fans, its never going to be 1991-1994
again. People may shell out big bucks for Kiss, The Stones, Jimmy
Buffett, Fleetwood Mac, etc, but those acts are all in their 50s and it
needs to be realized that going to see them is just a nostalgia
exercize.
Its even more pronounced with wrestling. We all have fond memories of
the Horsemen, Freebirds, Von Erichs, etc etc etc. But once an era is
gone, its GONE. That's just the way things are. Guys age, get hurt,
retire, and regretably sometimes, die prematurely.
There's a million reasons why there's NO WAY that WCW could come back
and be the same as it was the way you're talking about. The main one
though is this: it ain't 1997 no more. Hogan, Nash and DDP? They can
hardly move. Kidman? Still a strong worker, but as his time in WWE
shows, he's not a solo star. He needs a clique to work with. Same with
Morrus. And when you start fiending for Bagwell and Disco that's a sure
sign someone's looking at the past through rose-colored glasses.
And besides, what makes you think Vince would treat the WCW guys any
better NOW than he did in 2001? That's the other reason why WCW can't
be the same. American wrestling is now a near-monopoly.
2001 is quite possibly the last year you'll ever be able to say there
was more than one major wrestling federation in the US. As far as I'm
concerned, people can chant ECDub! til their lungs get store. Its still
Vince, Steph, and Shane (and probably Trips) at the wheel.
Not trying to bring ya down brah, but thems the facts.
Jason "and why doesn't anyone ever mention GLOW anymore?" Todd

DDP can still move, he always sucked anyway, but I just saw him at the
Crusher Tribute show back in December, Hogan and Nash? They could
never wrestle, they can talk on the mic and get the fans caring about
what's going on. Kidman? Nothing in WWE, but a person to use to make
the new WCW seem legit.
Also you bring up Hogan just like the other guy. Hogan was in WCW but
he's not WCW, Hogan is WWF/WWE.

Well gee...doofus....you mention nWo and we all know who formed that
group....Hogan,Hall and Nash....duh! Any other version of it would not
be near as good as the original...and why they should not even consider
it...IMO.
And the reason I brought up Hogan, was because of nWo...he was a
charter/founding member.
And Nash is best suited for TNA right now. He's old and has nagging knee
problems,so if he was ever brought back to WWE,he'd be on the disabled
list most of the time...like Mark Henry anyone?
And Goldberg? Here is a snippet for you from a reputable wrestling site:
Although talk of Goldberg in TNA is no longer prominent on the Internet, the Wrestling-Observer reports that his name is still very much part of backstage discussion.
The latest proposed idea would be a feud between Goldberg and Samoa Joe. No deal has been signed, but it is something TNA wants to bring to fruition.
It won’t be anytime soon, however, as Goldberg will be commence filming for a new movie next month.
And I can't help but LMAO at the guys you mentioned for WCW.
Also guys like Alex Wright, Billy Kidman, Disco Inferno, Hugh Morrus,
DDP, Buff Bagwell, and many others could be bought up like that. Them

LOL...I bet they are waiting..and will wait until hell freezes
over.Every single one of those guys suck, and if WCW were brought back
and these are the guys representing them...well,you won't have anybody
watching. It'd be worse than the new ECW...which is pretty bad.
But that's ok...you have your little dream fits of who you'd like to see
in WCW.
There are only 2 names you need to start with when you mention WCW...Ric
Flair and Sting. Those two were the heart and soul of WCW.Flair is
already there..but Sting is one I doubt we ever see in WWE.He turned
down a big contract because he didn't want to have to travel all the
time, and he has never been a fan of Vince McMahon...but that is common
knowledge by now.Without both these guys starting a WCW....it will fail
miserably.
