Object: Entrance Exam for Heaven
I was at WalMart last night, looking thru the "World News" tabloid,
waiting for my wife to finish checking out. There was an article based
(loosely, I'm sure) on someone's "near death experience." He stated, in
great detail, that there is a *written entrance exam* to get into Heaven.
There were lots of questions on philosophy, religion, ethics, but also
questions on geography and current events. It was a scream.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to finish the article, but it did get me to
thinking: Are the readers of World News THAT worried about intellectual
elitism in the afterlife?

Is that the tabloid that once had a picture of Mikhail Gorbachev in a
tutu?

I don't know about that, but on the cover of this issue is a picture of
Osama Bin Laden marrying Saddam Hussain (Sadam is the one wearing the
wedding gown). It didn't look like a Muslim ceremony, either.

Looks like the someone in the Bush administration may have leaked classified
intelligence again.

Not even original. There was a similar storyline on the Drew Carey show.

If anyone _should_ worry about it, it would be the type of person who
takes "World News" seriously. ;-)

If you pass, that means you're an intellectual, God-hating atheist, and
you go to Hell.

I doubt that anyone who reads the WWN takes it seriously. It's like
Landover Baptist. A wonderful parody.
