Evil Bible Quote of the Day for Feb. 19 (God Makes Wicked People) |
Evil Bible Quote of the Day for Feb. 19, 2004 from www.EvilBible.com:
God Makes Wicked People (Proverbs 16:4 NAB)
"The Lord has made everything for his own ends, even the wicked for the
evil day."
What kind of person would get their moral guidance from an ancient book of
myths and magic that says it is OK to murder, rape, pillage, and plunder?

Looks like your still at it. He made you! So I guess you are a wicked person. Don't waste your
time telling me He did not make you, He did! Your evil theology is very
weak and can be picked apart all day long.
Your are starting to sound like a broken record, I thought while I was
absent you would find another place to play, no such luck.

Actually Chris, the Bible diesn't pull punches. Wasn't it King David
who wanted another man's wife, so he sent him into battle in order
to be killed so he could take the other man's wife? I remember the
story, but not the verses. Proverbs is in the Old Testament which was
fulfilled by Christ and set aside for Christians is something that the Evil

How do the minions feel about whacking the skulls of babies against
rocks or the various examples of god-ordered genocide in the Bible?
Perhaps those things are not really evil not as evil, for example, as
accidentally touching the Ark of the Covenant. For such a henious
crime one gets struck dead instantly. Surely the Bible is full of
uplifting moral lessons.

Like so many who chose to side with the *evil* one, you object to that which
you know so little about. The law _WAS_ fulfilled by Jesus Christ!
Christ also said "I come not to destroy the law and prophets, but to fulfill
(the law and prophets)". Which
he actually did fulfill. "For all the whole_law_ is _fulfilled in one word,
in the {statement}'you shall love your neighbor as yourself".(Gal.5:14)
Therefore, the law and the prophets are obsolete _for_ salvation. And after
all is said and done SALVATION _is_ the hope and expectation of Christians.

Since you have condemned me without first meeting me, you seem to be the
evil one. And I *certainly* do not side with you. I have spent years
researching religions and have found nothing but unbacked assertions,
arrogance and contradiction.
As for Christ and what he said? I find no real-world evidence he ever
existed, with the exception of a forged entry in Josephus' Antiquities of
the Jews, and a Turin Shroud (which was carbon-14 dated to be manufactured
in 1300).
Christianity is a fraudulent means by which the few can manipulate the
many. Sorry, I'm not buying it.

Makes more sense than the god most people seem to believe in. A
god who only creates good stuff is only half a god.
What kind of person would get their moral guidance from an ancient book of

It only says that if you want it to. I was brought up a Roman
Catholics and we didn't know about most of the nasty bits, though
I am sure that the priests had complicated reasons for ignoring
what they preferred us not to know about. Many of the people who
do read the Bible seem to twist their heads in knots to get it to
say what they want it to, so I may have been better of as a
Catholic.
Not as good as being a non believer, of course!
