Evil "Christians" |
The unbridled evil at the "American Family Association"
stuck me on their mailing list.
It's a classic case of spamming.
They had set up a webform in order to invent opposition
to the TV show "Book of Daniel," and after I used it to
send the network a somewhat supportive letter they captured
my e-mail address (without informing me, never mind asking
me) and have been sending me spam ever since.
Anyhow, their second-to-last latest spam involves a
Presidential election survey that they're cooking, in order
to feign huge support for the lunatic Reich wing:

Be careful. If you use this form the will almost definitely
use that as an excuse to spam you mercilessly.

The more things change, the more things stay the same. Twenty-five or
thirty years ago I received a survey in the mail from some religious
organization. It contained balanced questions such as "Do you believe
our children should be taught atheist lies about human origins or the
truth as set out in Scripture?" I checked "atheist lies" It went on
like that for five or six questions. Each time I checked the "wrong"
answer. I mailed it in. Shortly thereafter I got a letter thanking me
for my support and agreement with them. Either they didn't check the
answers or they knew from experience that their target audience would
probably not fill out the form right. Anyway, I was on their mailing
list for years. I had to move.
