I think that we are going to loose this battle.
The conservatives had wisely bet for the ignorant people, and they have
taken care of them, they had pampered them, praised them, flattered
them, etc. while in the field of Science, our School teachers had
passed too much time tormenting the ignorant kids with low grades in
school. These kids have to hate us, because they don't understand a
***** of Science and they barely can read; at least a few of them are
able to.
Let the conservatives win this battle, and let them bury Science under
a hundred feet of religious rubbish. In the end, other people in the
Far East, or anywhere else, being free of all this rubish doctrines
will evolve and develope into a new superpower.
And we, slaved and chained in the forlorn Xian countries, would hail
with hurras to those free countries as our saviors.
Then, the damned xian empire, would be in such a decandent state, as
some fanatical nations burdened by the Islam.
The only words that come to my mind in these sad times is the war cry
of Voltaire: "=C9crassons l'inf=E2me!"
