Eyes On Jerusalem. Pt. 44. |
As of May 9, 2006:
Current status of Iran's nuclear agenda: Green light.
----------------
In further developments: Smokescreen city, folks! Iranian President
Mahmoud Ahmadinehad sent an unexpected letter to President Bush on
Monday, in what was seen as an overture for direct talks about Tehran's
nuclear program, but U.S. officials dismissed the missive as an
eleventh-hour ploy to forestall punitive action by the United Nations.
The letter is thought to be the first direct communication between the
two countries' leaders since Iranian militants overthrew the shah and
took Americans hostage at the U.S. Embassy in 1979. Diplomats hoped
the letter signaled a new willingness on Iran's part to address the
standoff over its uranium enrichment program, which the Islamic
Republic says is for peaceful energy purposes, but which must of the
West suspects is a cover for trying to build nuclear weapons. (I
suspect they already are.)
--------------
Why not give communication a chance? Look how much we've accomplished
with North Korea.

Why do you keep antagonising the Jewish people and the Atheists.
Its not the way to teach them about Jesus Christ.
You are not going to sow a seed that anyone can reap that way. You are just
going to turn them further against Christians.
I question your motives.

There is no way any Christian can "teach us about Jesus Christ", and
it is an arrogant presumption to imagine that, because it is no
different that insisting you be taught about the Easter Bunny.

Then Iran accused us of a "double standard" in possessing nuclear weapons,
while demanding that Iran not enrich its own uranium.
