Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad warned Europe last October that
if a Middle Eastern conflict erupted, the European continent "may get
hurt." According to a recent European security report, he is
beginning to put action behind those words.
Security analyst Claude Moniquet says Iran is working on plans to
attack European targets.
"We have serious signals that something is under preparation in
Europe," Moniquet said, speaking of Iranian surveillance. The
president of the European Strategic Intelligence and Security Center
specifically highlighted an increase in the number of agents in Europe
as well as reconnaissance of nuclear plants in Europe.
