Where are the Michael ***** Moore fans?
Not withstanding Shannon's lunacy, as a proponent of the group he has
a point. Where ARE Moore's fans? The lack of fan material is so
glaringly obvious that one begins to wonder if Moore actually *has*
any fans.
It's obvious that Moore has fans in the sense that many share his
political views and are pleased to hitch a ride on his train. Such
fans abound. Everyone loves a parade. But that's a pretty narrow view
of what it means to be a fan. Where's the discussion of his methods,
his use of camera, his editing, his attention to detail, his use of
color, space, and sound, his use of sources, his interview skills --
all of that?
I'm just not seeing much.
Can anyone cite any threads that included even three posts in a row
that dealt with such matters? Or has it all been political?
Does Moore actually have any fans? Any loyal following that admires
his documentary skills -- regardless of his politics? What do they
have to say? Where do they say it?
