This is the world that bigotted Christians want to create. Hell, they'd
force abortions on homosexuals if they could come up with an in the womb
test to detect sexual orientation. Note the Bible-study sister of the
murderer never bothered to come forward until the boy was dead.

A Tampa, Florida man beat his three year old son until he fell into a coma,
because he feared the child might be gay.
In a trial that can only be described in the most vulgar terms possible by
most, 21-year old Ronnie Paris, Jr., of Tampa, FL has been convicted of
second-degree murder and aggravated child abuse for physically abusing his
three year old son, Ronnie Antonio Paris, until he was in a coma and
eventually died from swelling on both isdes of his brain.
Why, you may ask, would someone, ANYONE, do such a thing? Because Paris was
worried that his son might be gay. Let that sink in for a moment. He was
worried that his three year old son might be gay, so he abused the boy until
he fell into a coma and died.
The child's mother, Nysheerah Paris, testified in court that his father
would force him into a box and slap him on the head. According to the boy's
aunt, Shanita Powell, "He was trying to teach him how to fight(.) He was
concerned that the child might be gay." "He didn't want him to be a sissy,"
testified Shelton Bostic, a bible-study friend of the defendant.
Perhaps more galling is that this was not a single, isolated incident. The
child had been placed in protective custody by the Florida Department of
Children and Families after he had been admitted to the hospital several
times for vomiting. During this time, he was in the care of a foster family,
and, according to testimony by the foster parent, was perfectly fine there.
He was returned to his parents Dec. 14., then was abused until he fell into
coma on Jan. 22. He was taken off life support six days later.
When the boy's mother was questioned by investigators in February, she
finally admitted to the abusive actions. She has been charged with felony
child neglect, which carries up to a fifteen-year prison sentence.

straight!
In fact, the only place I ever seem to see effeminate gays is ... on US
television shows...

of effeminate gay men, but they are hardly the majority.
In fact, the only place I ever seem to see effeminate gays is ... on US
television shows...
Exactly. The people who think all gay men are effeminate, the ones
on TV are the ONLY "gay" men they ever see. "or at least "recognise"
as gay.
They usually think all Lesbians have crewcuts and flannel shirts too.

That probably comes into play, I don't doubt it. But I think even
more than "peer pressure" to behave like a queen is _permission_ to
behave like one. You can't tell me no straight man has ever had the
urge to get flaming swishy from time to time - they just don't give
themselves that freedom. ;-)

That probably comes into play, I don't doubt it. But I think even
