FBI chief to visit Morocco

RABAT (AFP) - US Federal Bureau of Investigation (
FBI) chief Robert S. Mueller is expected to visit Morocco on Monday for
talks on closer cooperation between the security services of the two
countries, officials said.

Mueller is expected to meet Moroccan officials to discuss the fight
against terrorism and cooperation in police investigations, a judicial
source said.
Moroccan authorities have in recent years arrested some 2,000 alleged
Islamists linked to extremist groups said to be affiliated to Al-Qaeda.
