Ahh Noah
That'd be when your god decided to murder pretty much every single living
creature (billions upon billions of lifeforms) on the planet simply because
he was ***** at a few thousand right? "Yeah there really wouldn't be
better way to get folks to behave - I'll just slaughter them all. Even the
babies." Super diety you worship there.
I'm still confused about how they got the kangroos there and back again
though.

I once talked to a bibleoid who said that no children died in the
flood. He didn't explain it, he just insisted that no children died in
it. Maybe god made sure that no pregnancies occurred for twenty years
prior to the flood?

It was only the "companions" who would live that long and they did so by going
through about 16 human hosts. But when the great floods came there were no
longer enough human hosts. And especially since once a "companion" and human
join the human's immune system degrades (out of necessity to the "parasitic"
companion) by approximately 35% and makes the body more susceptible to illness
and death. So the Noah "companion" and his family decided that the only way to
insure survival would be to permanently merge their genes with their hosts'. The
"companion" would now be an integrated part of the human being and while this
insures the survival of "companion" genes as long as humans survive, we all have
shorter life spans now.

A great group. http://www.bananaslugstringband.com/ They performed at the
world music festival in Grass valley last week end.
In a serious tone I asked the leader, if he had a theme song. He gave me
that "I've got a wacko here" but politely said no and asked what I had in
mind. I said an old cowboy song would be appropriate. Again the look, but he
asked which one.
I sang "Happy Trails to you, until we meet again."
When he stopped laughing he made me repeat it to another band member.
