Virgil Goode (R-Va.), the congressreprobate from the 5th district of
Virginia, has sent a letter to selected constituents assuring them
that he absolutely will have nothing to do with the Koran. To wit:
" When I raise my hand to take the oath on Swearing In Day, I will
have the Bible in my other hand. I do not subscribe to using the Koran
in any way. The Muslim Representative from Minnesota was elected by
the voters of that district and if American citizens don’t wake up and
adopt the Virgil Goode position on immigration there will likely be
many more Muslims elected to office and demanding the use of the
Koran. "
The local C'ville Weekly reproduces the whole sorry piece of bigoted
crap here .
For shame Mr. Goode! For shame!
Addition: By the way, Goode's attack on immigrants is something of a
non-sequitur, since the first Muslim congressman, Keith Ellison, is a
native born American who converted. I wonder when Goode will come out
in favor of banning the preaching of Islam, too.

This makes me want to vote for a satanist, just so it can ***** Virgil
Goode and Denis Prager off when said individual uses the Satanic bible in
the swearing in after ceremony. I hope he draws a big pentagran on the

Just as soon as he posts a bill to shove gays back into the closet, then
is found to be soliciting pages and male massage therapists in his
office. He'll blame the whole sorry affair on the preaching of Islam
and allowing congressmen to swear an oath on the Koran.
