Finally after a long layoff |
Finally after a long layoff and distractions as a result of:
trying to sell a house
on going process from June to October of storing our stuff
selling a house
traveling to my hometown in Ohio to buy a house
buying a house in Ohio
overflowing a bathtub in the house we just sold and having to deal with the
damage as a result of that
painting the interior of that house as per the agreement we made in the
sales contract
Moving out of that house
Being "homeless" for two weeks as we waited for access to our new house
moving our "stuff" from Virginia to Ohio
unloading the truck in Ohio of our stuff into our 2 car garage and
beginning the process of unpacking and moving in
Buying another house that I had owned before moving to Virginia in 1983
having that house broken into and having the copper water pipes and copper
wiring stolen out of the basement
boarding up entry vulnerable points to that house
having an alarm system installed
having the basement rewired
looking for the best deal to replace the missing water pipes especially
since the entry pipe into the house is lead.
( I think we could write a book titled: HOW NOT TO MOVE. I think we
tried every wrong way to do it hehehehe)

This will be continued on a fairly regular basis (fairly regular as we are
still involved with getting the second house regular to move into etc.)
once again as it had been done prior to April 2006.
(BTW, this whole process of moving convinced me I am not 20 anymore.)
