Finding Myself |
Recently I think I have found myself and I am curious of what you
people think of my way of life. My lifes philsoy is that during life
we must grow your relationship with God, on a more personal level. I
do not think huge, "mainstream" religions like Christianity are the
answer. I wrote on my blog "...if Jesus loves me, why does he punish
me for searching for god, shouldn't he be happy that I am taking time
to look all over for other views of God? If I'm shopping for a TV what
is the point of just stopping at the first store buying the TV without
even thinking or caring about the other TVs or other stores that may
sell TVs?"
http://mysearchesfortruth.blogspot.com/
Does anybody see my point? I mean if god wants us to follow him why
does he punish us for searching and learning the ways and ideas of
other religions? Well anyways does anybody understand what I am
saying? I am here for your input, thoughts, and to share my own
thoughts of god with people that may be lost like I was.

You used to be lost and lonely, then you found god. Now you are still
lost and lonely, but at least you can talk to your imaginary friend.

Prove it exists outside your deluded fantasies to do that - and when
you realise you can't - SHUT THE ***** UP BECAUSE YOU ARE OFF-TOPIC AND
HAVE NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO SAY ON THE SBJECT.
Was that clear enough even for you?

Not any more. My lawn tractor was just delivered. We had a weed genocide.
I was just trying the thing out but was eating through everything and I
did over half this lot in, like, a half hour.

Ah, the joys of aging. For the last three days, I've woken with neck
pain and something nasty going on in my right shoulder blade area.
Oh dear, that doesn't sound like much fun :(
You'd think I was doing acrobatics in my sleep or something...
Hey, you never know ;)
I'm just glad that my bursitis seems to have toned down a bit - Weight
loss seems to have helped with that. That and training myself not to
sleep on my side anymore <grumble>
However, belly dancing classes start up again tomorrow evening, so
I'll be sore on Friday morning <shimmy, shimmy, hip drop>
You dropped your hip???
Did I? Damnit! Not again!
Oh crap, it's all tangled up in alt.atheism.moderated.

Bring some spackle!

Um... how 'bout some Elmer's?
No! That doesn't work! Got any Gorilla Glue (and watch your mouth!) ;)
