As Jesus has revealed through his defense plans,
Scooter Libbey is most definitely innocent on all
charges!

First, he's asking for a trial by jury. There's no
secrets in a trial by jury. All the jurors are
supposed to be randomly selected, with the defense
having the option of challenging any juror they
deem as something other than an ordinary,
loud-mouthed average American.

Next, they're asking for classified information. Yup.
You see, there's all these files & stuff that pretty
much say Scooter Libbey is innocent. But they don't
know which files they are.... or it's all written in
invisible ink or something. Anyhow, if the people
Libbey is going on trial to protect don't agree to
release even one classified document, not only does
that make a mistrial very likely, but it's the basis
for a guaranteed appeal if by some miracle Scooter
is convicted.

Even for genuinely innocent people, when the
government withholds information that the defense
argues is critical to their case, convictions are
often over-turned!

But, hey, why take the risk?

Libbey is also planning on calling administration
officials to testify UNDER OATH at this public
jury trial. They've even dropped ***** Cheney's
name in their threats...errrr... hints.

This places "Justice" directly at odds with "Executive
privilege." Yup. The administration has often been
quick to invoke "Executive privileges" in their efforts
to avoid answering for anything. But if they do that
now the defense has a likely mistrial and/or automatic
appeal of any conviction. And if they don't do it then
administration officials will have to testify under oath,
potentially revealing all kinds of damaging tid-bits,
including implicated other officials and/or revealing
other crimes.

And then, of course, they're going to re-play the
"Jouralism" card. Yup. They're also talking about
calling journalists as witnesses, starting that whole
"Protecting the source" battle all over again... dragging
things out for months & months at a time.

And then there's the fact that Libbey is an insider. He
knows where the bodies are buried. If the administration
doesn't play ball with him, he can easily reveal all
sorts of secrets...errr... "As part of his defense," of
course... ensuring that the invisible hand of the Bush
junta will be pulling all the right strings on Libbey's
behalf.

Now I ask you, would a guilty man stoop to all this?

NO!

Because, um, because a guilty man would want to
AVOID the appearance of being guilty. Right?

So Scooter Libbey is innocent.
