For *****'s sake!! |
I was out doing my shopping today when I happened across a bunch of
god-botherers in the street. I heard them first from a distance away
and they were singing some sort of banal happy-clappy song. I wasn't
going that way so I just ignored them.
Then having found that the shop I went in didn't have what I wanted, I
had to go past them to get to the other shop which might have had it.
They had stopped singing, indeed, they weren't making that much noise
at all and had very little by way of a crowd round them, plus some very
popular buskers had started up just along the street from them.
As I walked past them, I noticed what they were doing, and could hardly
believe my eyes. A man had his arms streched out and two children aged
about 7 or 8 were banging pretend nails into his wrists.
WHAT THE FLYING *****??????? Where's a social worker when you need one?

Poor kids - what chance do they have of living a full and uncluttered
