Object: FORBIDDEN message to Jason Gastrick
I know I've been forbidden by Jason to send him messages but I wanted him to
be among the first to know that I now have a AA number. It is #137 which is
prime.
So now Jason can prey for me and remove the old name under 137 from the list
he took without permission.

Jason is only good for driving people away from God. Is there any
evidence for people going the other way?

Not that I've seen, but Jason certainly has upset some theists
who don't approve of his behavior.

I really find this hard to believe!! After all God gave him better
gas mileage, better eyesight, repaired his CD disc burner,
helped him heal someone from epilepsey, got him a new
apartment and I know I'm missing some other miracles. Did
God get him good business for his JCSM car washes or was
that just secular marketing?
It just doesn't make any sense that when it comes to the big
stuff, like bring atheists (actually anyone) closer to God, his
prayers are unanswered. God work in mysterious ways,

I just noticed that Mike spelled "pray" "prey." Wonder if that is a
secret AA code or if it means that Jason has been preying on atheists
rather than praying for atheists.

No secret code necessary. It's pretty obvious what he's been doing.

Jason couldn't pray to anyone - he's too busy worshipping himself.

Yes, indeed, I did spell it "prey" and it was not by accident.

OK Bob this is looking promising. I am reading between the lines here
but I think you are saying that Jason has made you sin (get mad) and
therefore you have come closer to God since you then feel guilty about
getting mad at a 'fellow' Christian.
I'm not sure if this scenario counts as a positive or negative with
respect to the power of his prayer. Again, God works in mysterious
ways. We foid his love through hate. No wonder God has set him up to
be such an easy target. He wants him to be the atheist whipping boy so
we all feel bad about it later. But will that tactic work for
atheists. I think it's only a good strategy for those that are already
closer to God.
So is Jason only here to bring Christians closer to God? Would that
explain why he targets the Christian's wallet with his JCSM.org? Does
God think atheists are a lost cause?

One (1) point FOR Jason's efforts.

David D,
There might just be some evidence.
I am sure that has been more than one atheist that has become so
frustrated dealing with Jason, that he has prayed to one god or
another to have Jason silenced. Or, more than one that has prayed for
his own sanity after reading some of Jason's posts. Maybe Jason is
using reverse psychology.

I did it last week, during a post. I didn't actually get down on my
knees and fiddle with the beads, but I addressed someone named "God" with
my full attention, as I had been instructed to. I asked this god thing
to reveal itself to me. To give me a sign...
And, as I suspected, nothing happened.

results. Which is right there next to making the whole thing up to fit

frustrated dealing with Jason, that he has prayed to one god or
another to have Jason silenced.

Bob, if the thought of prayer, or a god, didn't occur to me with
either of my heart attacks, nothing Jason could do would make me think
of prayer.

Or, more than one that has prayed for
his own sanity after reading some of Jason's posts.

Jason?!?!?!
He couldn't motivate a flea to flex one leg. He's fun to play with
once in a while, that's all.

Awesome.

Uncle Shelby's ABZ Book by Shel Silverstein had a few stories like that.
An offer for a free pony was one, another had to do with a missing quarter
that had been placed in the book.
There was a poem about poor hardworking daddy asleep on the couch,
and didn't he need a haircut,
and here are a pair of scissors.

What's an AA Number?

Let me guess. Mean ole you made him mad again.
Shame on you.;)

Jason is amusing but hardly makes me mad. His fear of answering questions is
typical of the ignorant who are to vain to admit it.
His work among people on Alt atheism has caused at least seven people to
come off the fence and apply for a number that acknowledges they are
atheists.
Had someone similar to Jason not done the same for me several years ago I'm
sure Jason would have caused me to examine my beliefs and realize I was an
atheist and that the agnostic position was about as valid as a belief in
Tachyons.

Try reading what I said again. He was told that he could remove the name
that was previously associated with 137 from the list he, Jason, removed
without permission and posted on his web site without permission.
