Fox News Denounces 1964 Liberal Nobel Peace Prize Recipient
WASHINGTON (EAP) - FOX News and Fiends have denounced the selection of
Martin Luther King for the 1964 Nobel Peace Prize as yet another
example of "liberal propaganda".
Dr. King has devoted his life to what liberals have called "An
Inconvenient Truth"- that Americans should not be drinking out of
different public water fountains because of their skin color. His
works have been long opposed by vested interests ("Big Hood", as they
are known to insiders). Their own industry-backed movie "debunking"
racial equality- "The Great Racial Equality Hoax" was met with both
derision and more derision.
Nonetheless, this has not prevented FOX News from continuing their
attack on Dr King as an unworthy winner of the award. William Kristol,
a long time rightwing chickenhawk, blasted the selection of Dr King:
"Certainly, Governor George Wallace is a more deserving candidate for
the 1964 Nobel Peace prize, not only did he preserve peace and order
in the Deep South by chasing those troublemakers off with attacks dogs
and water cannons, he's also white! How can you be more qualified that
that?!"
But mostly, rightwing pundits simply tried to discredit the Nobel
Prize itself. "Martin Luther King. Ralph Bunche. Teddy Roosevelt.
Pfeh" huffed rightwing pundit Fred Stone, "only losers win the Nobel
Peace Prize". Others have pointed that Fred Stone is merely engaging
in a bit of sour grapes, as he was lobbying hard for his hero J Edgar
Hoover for the same Prize and was seen crying like a little girl when
his hero was passed over for Dr. King.
Mr. Stone was last seen wearing Mr. Hoover's little black dress while
doing the Charleston.

Sometimes, it is so hard to tell the difference between news and
satire.
