carte blanche not to be prepared for the worst.

I'm trying to figure out why we should trust them on protecting us from
terrorism if they're so clueless. This was one of the four "big"
scenarios disaster planners have studied for years. It's right up there
with the San Andreas whacking Los Angeles.
Can you imagine if "the big one" hit LA under these idiots?
