Freed Britons land in London, ending Iran standoff |
LONDON (Reuters) - The 15 British military personnel freed by
Iran after a two-week diplomatic stand-off arrived back in England on
Thursday to cheers and to questions about the incident and its
implications.

Golly! We didn't have to invade, topple their government, and set up a
Western style democracy! It's almost as if diplomacy works!

The Iran government gave an overall impression of amateurish dishonesty,
they may have done more damage to themselves in the way they handled the
incident than a military confrontation would have achieved.
