What does this mean, if anything? Do you agree? Why or why not?
I think it is self contradictory: It says that freedom requires an
institution, which by that fact, we are not free to do without. As a
foundational statement of a philosophy of governance, it indicates the
blindness to its own contradiction, that permeates religion.
