bucks, crime does pay. Jury of our peers my *****. I guess this is the
best we can do, folks. I would suggest the Catholic Church put Thomas
Meserou on retainer now.

The catholic church has tens of thousands of "michael jacksons" in their
employ and has conspired to do far more to cover things up and insure
that many cases are never even brought to trial. It least jacko had to
go to court and was sweating bullets so hard that he had to be
"hospitalized" on a number of occasions. I'm still not too happy with
the verdict because it probably isn't an accurate description of
reality. However, perhaps the evidence really just is insufficient to
establish what he did to the extent that the law demands. One option is
for legislators to adjust the law.

Not that I give a ***** about 'Jacko', but he had a back problem and if
you paid any attention at all, the family was about as believable as a

It was one person's word against another's, both with a prior record (of
sorts) of either attempted extortion or molestation, neither proven.

Your reaction to the verdict is just as predictable as the verdict
itself. Big star. Didn't do it. But he's a big star and I'm not, so
I'll make myself feel bigger by assuming he's guilty, the jury was
wrong, and I know better than they do.

I must admit that while I think that Jackson is almost certainly a
child molester, based on a long history of accusations and
inappropriate behavior in the past, and likely did molest his accuser
(based on viewing their wildly inappropriate interactions in the
completely creepy Martin Bashir documentary aired before the
allegations were made), I would probably have been forced to grit my
teeth and acquit him of all charges as well had I been on the jury:
the prosecution's case fell apart on the stand to *way* past the point
of "reasonable doubt" IMO.
