NEW LONDON — A trial starts Friday for the former pastor at the
Norwich Assembly of God who is charged with sexually assaulting a
12-year-old girl.
Charles Johnson Jr., 53, of 35 Fourteenth St. Norwich has denied the
charges and pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree sexual
assault and risk of injury to a minor.
